The Venue

The vines at Breakfast Creek Vineyard were planted over 20 years ago by the previous owner.  They planted the variety Chambourcin which is a French American hybrid grape variety, fused between the European Vitis Vinifera and American Root stock.

Suzanne Lewington took over ownership in 2016 and two years later Lucy and her two children moved to the vineyard to manage the property, where they continue to make wine.

The name Breakfast Creek comes from days of when the cattlemen would drove their cattle stopping at the creek running through the property for breakfast. You can find old peach and apples trees along the creek where they would discard the eaten fruits.

Whether you are dining or holding your special day with us, enjoying vibes in the vines or enjoying a family day out, you’ll be greeted with sweeping views of the vineyard, paddocks and an uninterrupted view of Gulaga Mountain.

You’ll dine in our rustic styled marquee and our caterer’s kitchen food trailer will ensure you’ll enjoy local wholesome foods prepared onsite by our Chef Darryl.
